The timber to be sold consists of all merchantable timber located within the sale area. All pine logs may be removed from SMZ while following state BMP guidelines. DDK foresters conducted a timber inventory in December 2023 by placing 1/10th acre plots on a 4x5 chain grid across the property. All trees within the plots were measured and recorded. Ton values were estimated using a conversion factor of 54 pounds per cubic foot. Sale boundaries are designated with pink flagging, and the SMZ is marked with blue paint and pink flagging.
