Doug Moore

Doug Moore brings extensive experience in timberland investment, finance, and operations to his role at DDK Forestry & Real Estate. Before joining DDK, he served as Senior Vice President of Timber Operations at Horizon Capital Partners, where he oversaw portfolio management and strategic growth across multiple timber assets. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Timberland Finance at PGIM Real Estate, the investment management arm of Prudential Financial.

Throughout his career, Doug has held key roles in timberland and agricultural private equity, specializing in acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management. His background provides a unique perspective that blends on-the-ground forestry knowledge with institutional investment expertise.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Forest Resources with an emphasis in timberland investment from the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources.

Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Olivia, and their two sons, Harris and Warren. An avid outdoorsman, he can often be found hunting, fishing, training his dogs, or cooking for family and friends.
