Stand 1: Walkers Corner Final Harvest Timber Sale (24 acres+-)
The timber on this stand consists of a 32-year-old pine plantation that is heavily stocked. The timber to be sold consists of all merchantable timber located within the sale area. The buyer must follow Best Management Practices.
Stand 2: Walkers Corner Hardwood 1st thin Timber Sale (109 acres+-) This hardwood timber is approximately 32 years old. The buyer will conduct a 1st thinning by harvesting every 5th row and removing inferior, overtopped, and poorly formed trees, leaving approximately 65–70 square feet of basal area. Care must be taken to avoid damaging the remaining dominant and codominant timber.
